Teaching Philosophy
I want to share a nuanced appreciation for life and all its colors. Languages often share the same concepts but have different meanings and connotations. Cultures express love for music, dance, and art, but show it in various ways. Music is no exception, it is as big as the world. It is a profound way to expand empathy and explore other cultures. It is a skill that can teach people of all ages how to work diligently with a positive conviction and a newer understanding of the world around them.

I am dedicated to ensuring that my students learn to play relaxed, and I have seen how this enhances their enjoyment and competency. I invite curiosity, creativity, and passion, which motivate students and inspire them to strive for improvement. I believe in a holistic approach to music education. This encompasses the essential elements of technique, music theory, and aural skills, alongside the integration of composition, sight-reading, and refinement from the outset. I have seen the life-changing results of developing perseverance through learning the piano.
I strive to foster this in all of my students so that they may also attain musical independence.
